this weekend i was dying to go back to the city and celebrate a good halloween with my girls like we did the year before. its been two weeks without seeing those precious tall buildings and listening to the harmony of the ambulance. doesnt that happen to everyone though, realizing you truly love something after it gets taken away from you like a baby and his toys. unfortunately my job, no matter how awesome it is, pays minimum wage and my teachers crammed me with homework for monday so i did what was best for me (school wise duh) and stayed in poughkeepsie. from thursday night up to today, kids up here at marist have been going nuts and partying one night after another, wearing a different costume each time. woke up early today to do all my laundry and errands, it feels good to wake up early, grab some breakfast and sip some coffee while reading the paper. i feel like i have the entire day ahead of me. now im at the library studying but i decided to take a break because my brain was going insaneee. good song.
